Cross country

Last week on Thursday we had cross country at bledisloe  .
At cross country half of the hole of Paihia School got to compete in cross country.


I had to compete with the 11 year olds. The fun thing that I got to do was running in the hard and squishy   mud.Then we had to run up a massive
grassy hill, we had to sprint down a steep hill so that made it harder for us to run down. After that I was nearly at the finish line and I placed second place.

Beeswax

Yesterday in Te Ngahere we made beeswax wraps.
Also we got to design our beeswax wraps with felts or vivids.

When we brang our beeswax  wraps to the Whare kai. So Anok could dip our wraps into the beeswax  we had to let the drops from the beeswax drop off. We used them for our lunch for sandwiches . So we don't need to use glad wrap or plastic. I enjoyed drawing my beeswax and also I think I could of done not that much drawing but it was still cool.

Whaea Gina food labels

This Monday Whaea Gina came into our class talking about food labels.
We learnt that we had to try and eat  foods that has fiber.
We were learning how much fiber was in the ceriles what we eat.
It is important to have breakfast because it  makes nice and strong for the day.
Now when  I am going shopping with my parents i am going to look at the food labels.

I noticed that weetabix and porridge are healthiest cereals to have for breakfast.  The sugar in your ceriles should be under 10 and also your fiber should.
